Assembly to pass a law authorizing Aurelia A. Long and
Wm. H. Roach, to settle their guardian accounts with Alex-
ander Long.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Devecmon presented the petition of 400 citizens of
Allegany county, for a modification of the Sunday Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Syester submitted the following order :

Ordered, That one thousand additional copies of the Re-
port of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction be
printed and furnished to the office of the General Superin-
tendent of Public Instruction ; and also such further num-
ber be printed as shall be necessary to supply each of the
county superintendents and teachers of public schools
throughout the State with one copy, to be distributed by the
General Superintendent.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Print-
ing.

Mr. Smith, of Worcester, submitted the following order:

Ordered, That Mr. Fooks, of Wicomico county, have leave
of absence for one week to proceed home.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Bond, of Calvert, submitted the following order :

Ordered, That Jesse J. Dalrymple, a member of this
House, have leave of absence for six days, commencing on
Thursday, 30th instant.

Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Guy,

Leave was granted the Prince George's delegation to in-
troduce a bill to require the Commissioners of Prince George's
county to equalize the assessment of real estate in said
county.

On motion of Mr. Stewart, of Dorchester,

Leave was granted the Dorchester delegation to introduce
a bill to change the fees of the Sheriff of Dorchester county.

On motion of Mr. Deale,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to regulate and make uniform the compen-
sation of the County Commissioners in the several counties of
this State.
