Gentlemen of the Senate : We have received your message requesting this House to return to your Honorable Body, the Act entitled an Act to repeal the Pension Act of 1867, passed by this House, and transmitted to your Body for its concurrence, and rejected by it, and respectfully return the same in accordance with the request of your Honorable Body. On motion by Mr. Lee, The rules were suspended, and The vote by which the bill referred to in the message, Was rejected, Was reconsidered, and The bill was referred to the Committee on Judicial Pro- ceedings. On motion by Mr. Miller; The vote by which the Senate bill relating to Execu- tors, Administrators and Guardians' was ordered to be en- grossed, was reconsidered, and the bill recommitted to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. On motion by Mr. Henkle, The vote by which the Senate rejected the engrossment of the Buckman Valley Rail Road bill, was re-considered, and the bill was ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Mr. Snyder, from a select committee, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 619, of Article 4, of the Public Local Laws, entitled city of Baltimore, sub- title Justices of the Peace and Constables, and to substitute the following in lieu thereof, With the following amendment: Insert after the words for Ward No. 20, one Justice of the Peace, the following, "and for each Legislative District, in the city of Baltimore, one Justice of the Peace in addition to those hereinbefore provided for. Which was adopted, And the bill as amended read the second time. |
