House bill entitled an Act to appropriate the sums of
money therein mentioned, to pay the claims of Augustus Gas-
saway and R. Vinton Clayton, assignees of George Earle,
Bartlett, Robbins & Co., Frederick Sasscer, George A. Huntt,
Geo. E. Gambrill,William Walsh, trustee,A. Hamilton Hall,
Lewis Magruder, John M. Bond, R. Vinton Clayton, Geo.
S. White, Leonard & Townsend, James R. Alvey, Charles
Shipley, A. S. Abell & Co., Daniel Caulk and Jacob Mar-
kee.

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Vien-
na, in Dorchester county.

Mr. Kimmel, from the Committee on Internal Improve-
ments, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to amend the Public Local Law,
title Kent county, sub-title Roads, Article 14, by adding a
section thereto.

Which was read the second time.
Mr. Walsh, from a select committee, reported favorably

House bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled an Act
to add a new section to Article 12, of the Code of Local Laws
for Harford county, entitled " schools," relating to the Har-
ford County Academy, and to the Cokesbury or Abingdon
Academy, and re-enact the same with an amendment, restor-
ing the State donation to the Harford County Academy,

Which was read the second time.
Mr. Browne from a select committee, reported favorably

House bill entitled an Act to repeal sec. 11, of Art. 7, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title Carroll county, sub-title
county commissioners, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
