index to wills and for binding the record books in the office
of the Register of Wills for Kent county,

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Vien-
na, in Dorchester county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-

tee on Corporations.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to appoint certain pecsons there-
in named as Commissioners to purchase a site, and contract
for the erection of a Court House and Jail in the town of
Salisbury, the county seat of Wicomico county, and for other
purposes therein mentioned, relating therto.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act to add a
new section to Article 12 of the Code of Local Laws
for Harford county, entitled Schools, relating to the Harford
County Academy, and to the Cokesbury or Abingdon Acad-
emy, and re-enact the same with an amendment restoring the
State donation to the Harford County Academy,

Which was read a first time and referred to the Senators
from Harford, Cecil and Carroll.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Pacific Fire
Insurance Company of Baltimore.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to legalize a supplement to the
Maryland Code, containing the Acts of the General Assem-
bly passed at the sessions of 1861, 1861-62, 1864, 1865,
1866 and 1867, arranged in Articles and sections, to corres-
pond with the Code, by Lewis Mayer, and to appropriate a
sum of money to purchase copies of the same, and to regulate
their distribution.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Judicial Proceedings.
