Reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, sections 33, 34, 35, 39 and 75, of the Code of
Public General Laws, entitled Revenue and Taxes, and re-
lating to the appointment of, and the bonds to be given by,
and compensation paid to the collectors of State taxes.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Hammond, from the Committee on Chesapeake Bay
and its tributaries, reported favorably

House bill entitled an Act to protect Oysters in Honga
and Nanticoke rivers during the summer months.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Walsh, from the Committee on Agriculture, re-
ported

Senate bill entitled an Act to prevent the spread of Pleuro-
Pneumonia, and other contagious disease among cattle in
the State.

Which was read the first time.
Mr. Snyder, from a select committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to add to the 4th Article of the
Code of Public Local Laws, the following sections, empower-
ing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to construct,
open, enlarge, or straighten sewers within the limits of the
city, and to provide the means for paying the same, and
compensation for any damage to property holders caused by
the construction, opening, enlarging, or straightening of any
sewer within the limits of the city.

Which was read a second time.
Mr Maddox reported

Senate bill entitled an Act to appoint Commissioners to
have a survey made and estimate of the cost of constructing
a rail road from some point in Prince George's county to
" Point Lookout."
