House bill entitled an Act to repeal the Charter incorpo-
rating the town of Snow Hill, in Worcester county, and
enact the following in lien thereof,

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to amend the Public Local Law,
title Kent county, sub-title Roads, Article 14, by adding a
section thereto,

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Internal Improvements.

Mr. Hyland, from the Committee on Corporations, report-
ed favorably

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and
Drum Point Rail Road Company.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Commerce Insu-
rance Company of Baltimore.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate ai Company to build a
Turnpike road from Pipe Creek through Middleburg to Taney-
town, in Carroll county.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act supplemental to an Act entitled an
Act to incorporate a Company to make a Turnpike road from
Ellicott's city to Elysville, in Howard county.

Mr. Snyder, from the Committee on Finance, reported fa-
vorably

House bill entitled an Act supplemental to an Act, entitled
an Act to incorporate a company to make a Turnpike road
from Ellicott city to Elysville, in Howard county passed at
the January session 1867, chapter 361.

Which was read the second time.
Also,
Reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act appointing a Committee with au-
thority to purchase a lot or lots of ground in the city of An-
napolis, and causing to be erected thereon a mansion for the
Governor of this State, and making an appropriation therefor.
