Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize Tench Tilghman, his heirs or assigns, to erect a bridge across the head waters of Town Creek, at Oxford, in Talbot county, Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the appointment of a Commissioner of Slave Statistics for Wicomico county, Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Senate bill entitled an Act to compensate Jos. M. Palmer for services rendered the State in the cases of State vs. Geo. Otto and George Hape, Being on its third reading, On motion by Mr. Snyder, it was Postponed until Friday, the 13th March next. Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 155, of Arti- cle 3, of Public Local Laws of Baltimore county, sub-title Roads, and to re-enact the same with amendments, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE.
