180 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 29,

Mr. Smith, of Worcester, Chairman of the Committee on
Printing, (the rules being suspended,) submitted the fol-
lowing

REPORT.

The Joint Committee on Printing make the following
recommendation, that there be printed for the use of the
Senate and House of Delegates the following:

Treasurer's Report—1,000 copies, divided with the members
of the General Assembly, which will allow to each mem-
ber 9 copies ; cost of each copy 8 cents.

Penitentiary Report—1,000 copies, divided with the members
of the General Assembly, which will allow to each mem-
ber 9 copies ; cost of each copy lOf cents.

Superintendent of Agriculture and Labor Report—5,000
copies, divided with the members of the General Assem-
bly, allowing to each 45 copies ; cost per copy 3 cents.

School Report—8,000 copies in English and 2,000 copies in
German, to be divided as follows : \ of the 10,000, or
3,333, for use of the Senate, and f of the 10,000, or 6,667,
for use of the House of Delegates, which will allow to
each Senator 133 copies, and to each member of the
House of Delegates 7*7 copies ; cost of copy of said report
46 2/3 cents.

All of which is respectfully submitted.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal a part of the 1st section of
an Act entitled an Act entitled an Act to carry into effect the
8th section of the Act entitled an Act for the promotion of
internal improvements, passed at December session, 1835,
chapter 395, passed at January session, 1860, chapter 303.

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

Which was read a first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee on Internal Improvements.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to ratify the proceedings of the
Sheriff and Constables of Somerset and Worcester counties
upon executions issued to them prior to the formation of
Wicomico county.

Which was read a first time and referred to Somerset.
Wicomico and Worcester delegations.
