House bill entitled an Act to amend and re-enact the 135th section of the 12th Article of the Code of Public Local Laws, title Harford county, sub-title " Sheriff," Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Hammond, Browne, Lee, Biggs, Maddox, Carroll, Malone, Earle, Spates, Fields, Walsh, Hyland, Welch—14. NEGATIVE—None. The bill was then retuned to the House of Delegates. Mr. Hammond, from a select committee, reported Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize Tench Tilghman, his heirs- or assigns, to erect a bridge across the head-waters of Town creek, at Oxford, in Talbot county. Which was read a first time. Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 30, Article 47, of the Code of Public General Laws, and to re-enact the same with amendments, Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. On motion by Mr. Henkle, Leave of absence for Mr. T. P. Townsend, Committee Clerk, on account of extreme illness in his family, was granted. House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 14 of the Act passed March 13th, 1867, entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Hall's Springs Railway Company, and to re- enact the same with amendments, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays a» follows: AFFIRMATIVE.
