Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed Jan- uary session 1867, chapter a 7 2, entitled an Act to further extend the time and provisions of an Act passed February 6th, chapter 15, and March 4th, 1864, chapter 373, and the supplements thereto, relating to the payments of bounties to volunteers and dratted men of this State, Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for giving effect to Informal or Invalid Deeds, Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. On motion by Mr. Grove, Senate bill of Drafts of General Laws relating to corpo- rations and other purposes, Being the order of the day, Was taken up on its second reading. Mr. Snyder offered the following amendment : Amend 23d section by adding after the word " oils," where it occurs in the 3d line, the following : " When the princi- pal office of said corporation is located in this State." Which was adopted. After reading thirty-five sections of the bill, On motion by Mr. Snyder, The further reading of the bill was postponed until to- morrow. Senate bill entitled an Act to amend and enlarge the pow- ers conferred by the Act entitled an Act relating to the manner of holding a.nd transmitting the title to certain church property therein mentioned, passed at December ses- sion, 1832, chapter 308, Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
