House bill entitled an Act to alter and amend certain sec-
tions, and add additional sections to Article 12, of Public
Local Laws, relating to Havre-de-Grace, in Harford county.

Which was read the second time.
Mr. Welch, from the select committee, reported

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 4 and 5 of
the Act passed the 8th day of March, 1856, chapter 148, en-
titled an Act to incorporate the Kent county Railroad Com-
pany, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Welch, from the Committee on Elections, reported
favorably

House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 40, Article 9,
of the Public Local Laws of Charles county, entitled "Elec-
tions,"and relating to election districts, and to enact the
following in lieu thereof.

Which was read the second time.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Atlantic and
George's Creek Coal Company, of Baltimore,to reduce its
capital stock, and to levy an assessment upon its said reduced
number of shares,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 170, 171 and
172 of the Code of Public Local Laws relating to Allegany
county, and to re-enact the same with amendments,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed.
for a third reading.

Mr. Malone, from select Committee, reported

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the removal of
cases of guardianship and wardships from the Orphans' Courts
of the counties of Somerset and Worcester to the Orphans'
Court of Wicomico county, and to provide for the sale of
real estate by executors and administrators resident in
Wicomico county, where such administration was com-
menced in either of the counties of Somerset or Worcester,

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act, passed Jan-
uary session, 1865, chapter 33, entitled an Act to provide
bounty for soldiers entering the service of the United States
