Senate bill entitled an Act to protect the navigation of Pa-
tuxent River,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to appoint an additional Con-
stable in Election District No. 5, in Carroll county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to aid in the establishment of a
Hospital in connection with the Washington University of
Baltimore, and to appropriate money for the same,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to sanction a grant of land from
the Reverend John Chew, to St. Paul's Parish in Prince
George's county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to Samuel S. Red-
graves, of Anne Arundel county, Maryland, a certain sum.
of money erroneously paid by him into the State Treasury on
account of State taxes,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

On motion by Mr. Maddox,

The vote by which the St. Mary's Seminary bill was re-
jected was reconsidered, and on his motion,

The bill was made the order of the day for to-morrow at
1.30 P. M.

Senate bill entitled an Act to prescribe the number of
names to be selected and placed in the box from which a
panel of jurors shall be drawn for Wicomico county,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays
as follows:
