324 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 28, Baltimore and Hampden Passenger Railroad Company, passed at the January session, 1865, chapter 32, page 43, Was considered, and Mr. Hammond offered the following- amendment : In line 5, section 1st, after the word company insert,. together with Messrs. Charles M. Daugherty, Robert Lehr, W. A. Wyseth, Charles E. Dickey, H. W. Rogers, C. C. Cox, A. C. Pracht, S. G. Hand, J. W. Anderson, James Hazlett, Joseph Stein, L. J. Cox and Alexander Gaddes. Which was adopted, And the bill as amended was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. Browne, Lee, Carroll, Miller, Earle, Malone, Fields, Parker, of Calvert, Grove, Spates, Henkle, Snyder, Hyland, Smith, Hammond, Walsh, Kimmel, Welch—18. NEGATIVE—None. The bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. Mr. Walsh, from a select committee, reported Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 170, 171 and 172 of the Code of Public Local Laws relating to Allegany county, and to re-enact the same with amendments. Which was read the first time. House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland Democratic Association, Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. Browne, Lee, Clarke, Maddox, Carroll, Miller, Earle, Malone, Fields, Parker, of Calvert, Grove, Spates, Henkle, Snyder, Hyland, Smith, Hammond, Walsh—18. NEGATIVE—None. |
