1868,] OF THE SENATE. 309 House bill entitled a supplement to an Act to incorporate the Merchants' and Miners' Transportation Company, passed in April, 1852. Which was read the second time. Also, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to repeal the 9th section of the Act passed January session, 1867, entitled an Act to incor- porate the Annapolis Fruit and Oyster Packing Company, and to re-enact the same so as to read as follows Which was read the second time. Mr. Grove, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings, reported the general bill on Corporations, which, On motion by Mr. Henkle, Was made the order of the day for Tuesday, March 3d, next. Mr. Grove, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 74, 75, 76, 77, and 78, of Article 75, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled Pleadings, Practice and Process, sub-title Removal of Causes, as amended by the Act of Assembly, 1865, chap- ter 187, and to enact the following as substitutes therefor. Which was read the second time. Also, reported favorably House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 58 of Article 16 of the Code of Public General Laws, under the title of Chancery Jurisdiction, and to re-enact the same with amend- ments. Which was read the second time. Also, reported favorably, House bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction of the General Assembly of Maryland to the bequest of Victor Thomson, late of Washington county, deceased, to the Trus- tees of the Presbyterian Church of Hagerstown, in said county.
