Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for giving effect to-
informal or invalid deeds.

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the changing of
the name of any person.

Senate bill entitled an Act to add additional sections to-
Article 53 of the Code of Public General Laws of the State
of Maryland, entitled "Landlord and Tenant," to follow sec-
tion 21.

On motion by Mr. Earle,

The following message was sent to the House of Dele-
gates :
BY THE SENATE,

February 27,1868.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We suggest to your Honorable Body the appointment of
a joint committee (of conference) of two on the part of the
Senate, and three on the part of the House, to consider the
advantages proposed to be secured by Senate bill entitled
"An Act to add new sections to Article sixteen of the Code
of Public General Laws, entitled Chancery," and which
failed to become a law in your Honorable Body. We have
appointed, on the part of the Senate, Messrs. Earle and
Grove.

AUGUSTUS GASSAWAY, Secretary.

Mr. Denson, from the Committee on the Library, reported
favorably

A bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the State
Librarian to subscribe for a sufficient number of Simon J.
Martinet's Map of Maryland, to supply each public schools
in the State therewith.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Browne, from the Committee on Agriculture, reported
favorably

House Resolutions on the subject of Labor in the State of
Maryland, with amendment.

Amend by striking out the 4th Resolution.
