County Commissioners of Washington and Allegany coun-
ties to levy a sum of money upon the taxable property within
their respective counties, sufficient to pay the several Clerks
of the Eegisters of voters within the said counties.

Which, was read the second time.

Mr. Grove, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 155 of Article
3, of Public Local Laws of Baltimore county, sub-title Roads,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time.
Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to empower the present or
future vestry of Zion Parish, in Prince George's county, to
sell and convey St. Mark's Church, commonly called Point
Chapel.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Smith, from select committee, reported

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Trustees of the
Antioch Methodist Episcopal Church, south, of Antioch, Dor-
chester county.

Which was read the first time.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing message :

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

February 25th, 1868.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

The House of Delegates having reconsidered its vote refer-
ring to a joint committee of your Honorable Body and this
House, the message of the Executive, and accompanying
documents, relative to the action of the Senate of the United
States in the case of Philip F. Thomas, Senator elect from
this State, and having referred the subject matter of the said
message to the Committee on Federal Relations, a Standing
Committee of this House, hereby respectfully request that the
said message and documents be returned to this House.
