An Act to authorize and empower the County Commis-
sioners of Dorchester county to sell and convey the Alms
House property of said county, and invest so much of the
proceeds thereof as may be necessary in the building or pur-
chasing another Alms House for said county.

An Act regulating the number and prescribing the powers
and duties of the County Commissioners for Wicomico
county.

An Act to refund to Lewis Tydings and Henry Tydings,
of Anne Arundel county, certain sums of money erroneously-
paid into the Treasury.

An Act to repeal the 45th section of Article 29 of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled " Circuit Courts for
the Counties," and substitute the following section in lieu
thereof.

An Act to repeal sections 37, 38, 39, 46, 47, 48 and 54 of
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws relating to
the town of Centreville, Queen Anne's county, and to re-
enact the following as substitutes therefor.

An Act to carry into effect section 37 of Article 4 of the
Constitution.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported

Senate bill entitled an Act to exempt from taxation the
structure of the Maryland and Virginia Bridge Company,
over the Potomac River, between Shepherdstown, West Vir-
ginia, and Washington county, Md.

Which was read the first time.

On motion by Mr. Earle,
The Senate was called.

The Sergeant-at-Arms was sent to notify the absent Sena-
tors.

On motion by Mr. Earle,
Further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.
