for the payment of Pensions to Maryland soldiers of the
war of 1812, and widows of deceased soldiers of 1812,

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Pensions.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to pay Elizabeth C. Dorsey, of
Frederick county, widow of Vachel W. Dorsey, who was a
soldier of the War of 1812, from the State of Maryland, an
annual pension of eighty dollars, during her natural life.

Which, was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Pensions.

The following Senate bills were this day sent to His Ex-
cellency, the Governor, for his approval :

An Act to authorize and direct the Treasurer to pay to
Mrs. Frances Miller, a sum of money due William K. Miller,
deceased, for per diem and mileage, as a member of. the
Legislature of Maryland, at the session of eighteen hundred
and sixty-one.

An Act to repeal section five, of Article sixty, of Public
General Laws, entitled Marriages, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.

An Act to authorize and direct the Judges of the Court of
Appeals of Maryland, to hear immediately the appeal now
pending in the said court wherein the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, is the appellant, and the Union Rail
Road Company of Baltimore, the appellee.

An Act, supplementary to an Act to incorporate the West-

ern Run Turnpike Company, passed in eighteen hundred and
sixty-seven, chapter three hundred and ninety-six.

An Act providing for the issue of execution on judgments
in Somerset and Worcester counties, against persons residing
in Wicomico county.

An Act to ratify the proceedings of the Sheriffs and Con-
stables of Somerset county and Worcester county, upon exe-
cutions issued to them prior to the formation of Wicoinico

county.

An Act to incorporate the Western Run and Reisterstown
Turnpike Company.

An Act to appropriate a sum of money to pay Benjamin
SStandifbrd, tax Collector for Harford county, for over-pay-
ment into the Treasury, for the year eighteen hundred and
sixty-five.
