from which it. will be seen that without carrying to the
credit of the warehouses the receipts from State wharves
since 1852, the said warehouses were due the State, exclu-
sive of the balance on loans, the sum of......... $7,595 41

To which add interest on loans, &c., to October

1st, 1867............................................. 10,277 10

Insurance and ground rent, 1867................... 1,042 61

Total to October 1, 1867........................ $18,915 12

Which has been more than liquidated by the

receipts from inspections to October 1, 1867,

to wit:
Net earnings of same.................................. 66,838 02

Balance due warehouses, Oct. 1, 1867............ $47,422 90

To which, if the net receipts from State
wharves since 1852, viz.......... $40,110 16

And average interest on same....... 19,252 80 59,362 96

Be added, there would be due the warehouses... $106,785 86

The balance on loans due the State is............ $163,689 67

The communication was laid on the table.
On motion by Mr. Clarke,

The communication was taken up and then referred to the
joint committees on the Tobacco Warehouses.

Mr. Brewer, from the Committee on the Library, reported
favorably House Joint Eesolution, requesting the Governor
to deliver to John De La Camp the unfinished maps now in
the office of the Executive, defining the boundary lines be-
tween the States of Maryland and Virginia.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, reported
Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore Ice
Company.

Which was read the first time.
Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate Harmony Lodge,
No. 30, of the Independent Order of Good Templars, of Boons-
boro', Washington county.

Which was read the first time.
