Mr. Lee presented the petition of citizens of Prince George's
county, in regard to the title to church property in the State.

Mr. Welch, from a select committee, reported favorably
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller and
Treasurer when ascertaining the amount of paid up subscrip-
tions to the capital stock of the Queen Anne's and Kent Bail
Road Company, to estimate the bonds of Queen Anne's county
as cash, at a specified rate per cent.

Mr. Clarke, from a select committee, reported Senate bill
entitled an Act to authorize and empower the Trustees of
Dulany Chaple of the Methodist Episcopal Church, in
Great Falls Circuit, in Baltimore county, Md., to sell and
convey said property

reported Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 33 of the Code of Public General Laws of the
State of Maryland, entitled " Landlord and Tenant," to fol-
low Section 21.

Maddox is detained from his seat by sickness.

reported Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled
an Act to amend the 16th Article of the Code of Public
General Laws, by adding thereto the following sections re-
lating to the powers of Courts of Equity in selling lands,
passed March 3d, 1862, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
