Act to incorporate the Frederick & Pennsylvania Line Bail
Road Company, chapter 298,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Trustees of
the Parsonage House, of the Methodist Episcopal Church in
Great Falls Circuit, East Baltimore Conference,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Hooversville
and Baltimore Turnpike Company,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill to incorporate the North Branch Lumber and
Boom Company,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to encourage and facilitate im-
migration to the State of Maryland,

Was read the second time, and,
On motion by Mr. Smith,

Was laid over for the present until the printed bill was
received.

Mr. Smith, from a select committee, reported Senate bill
entitled an Act to incorporate the Trustees of Bethlehem Me-
thodist Episcopal Church, South, Taylor's Island, Dorches-
ter county.

Which was read the first time.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered House bill
entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to repair and
paint the State House, and improve the grounds surrounding
it.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Public Buildings.
