House bill entitled an Act to open West Fayette Street ex-
tended, into Baltimore county.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Sena-
tors from Baltimore city and county.

Also,

House bill entitled an act to authorize and require the
Comptroller and Treasurer to estimate the bonds of Kent
county that may be issued by the County Commissioners
of said county, to pay for stock subscribed in the Kent county
Eail Road Company, at the average price at which they may
be sold, as cash paid towards the construction of the Kent
County Rail Road.

Which was read the first time, and,

On motion by Mr. Welch,

Referred to the Senators from Kent, Somerset and Cecil.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the appointment of
three Superintendents to supervise and control the repairs
and improvements of two public county roads in Allegany
county, the one leading from Oakland to Accident, and the
other from a point on said road near McHenry's Gate, to Sel-
bysport, in said county, and to authorize the County Com-
missioners of said county to make levies for the repairs and
improvement of the same.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Western-
port, Allegany county, Maryland.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

Also,

A bill entitled an. Act to authorize the Comptroller and
Treasurer, when ascertaining the amount of paid up sub-
scriptions to the capital stock of the Queen Anne's and Kent
Rail Road Company, to estimate the bonds of Queen Anne's
county as cash, at a specified rate per cent.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on. Finance.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Delaware Rail
Road Company to extend a branch railroad across the State
line into Kent county, Maryland.
