Ordered, That Mr. Mearns have leave of absence for two
days.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Wenner submitted the following order :

Ordered, That Thomas G. Maynard and Joseph Byers be
granted leave of absence for three days, dating from this
date.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Iglehart,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Trustees
of the Free Seat Methodist Episcopal Church of Annapolis,
and to make valid certain deeds heretofore made to them.

On motion of Mr. Slingluff,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
report an Act to enable the vestry of St. Thomas' P. E.
Church to hold money in trust for certain religious and
charitable purposes connected with the P, E. Church in
America, or with said parish.

On motion of Mr. Brown,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to report a bill to levy a tax upon all banking institutions in
this State, in augmentation of the free school fund of the
State.

On motion of Mr. Silver,

Leave was granted to the Harford county delegation to
introduce a bill for the relief of Wm. S. Bowman, of Harford
county.

On motion of Mr. Beck,

Leave was granted to the Kent and Queen Anne's dele-
gations to introduce a bill to authorize and require the
Comptroller and Treasurer to estimate the bonds of Kent
county that may he issued to pay for the said county's sub-
scription to the Kent County Railroad, as cash paid on the
stock of said company.

On motion of Mr. Beck,

Leave was granted to the Kent and Queen Anne's delega-
tions to introduce a bill to repeal the provisos in the first
section of the Act of 1860, chapter 300, relating to internal
improvements, and to re-enact the same as amended.

On motion of Mr. Sanner,

Leave was granted to the Com mittee on Corportions to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the National
Savings Bank of Baltimore.
