bill entitled an Act to incorporate Newton Lodge, No. 56,
of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, at Salisbury, Wi-
comico county, Maryland.

tee, reported Senate bill entitled an Act to secure the com-
pletion of the Worcester Eailroad.

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act, entitled an
Act to amend the Act of 1860, chapter 303, entitled an Act
to carry into effect the 8th section of the Act entitled an Act
for the promotion of Internal Improvements, passed at the
December session, 1835, chapter 395; by applying the unap-
propriated part of the appropriation made by said Act for the
purposes of Internal Improvement in Worcester county, to
the construction of the Worcester Kailroad and the Wicomico
and Pocomoke Railroad.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported House
bill entitled an Act for the relief of Nathaniel Duke, George
W. Dowell and Thomas B. Billingsley, with amendments.
1st. Amend first section second line by striking out the
word "authorized," and inserting in its place, the word "al-
lowed."
2nd. Amend first section third line, by inserting before
the word " to" the words, " in their discretion."

Mr. Earle, from the Finance Committee, reported favora-
bly Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the
Treasurer to pay to Mrs. Frances Miller, a sum of money due
William B. Miller, deceased, for per diem and mileage as a
member of the Legislature of Maryland, at the session of
1861.
