Also, the bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, passed March 10th, 1864, chap-
ter 347, entitled an Act to repeal section 30 of Article 15, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Montgomery coun-
ty," relating to the courts of said county, and' to enact a sub-
stitute therefor.

Severally endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

Mr. Colton, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, re-
ported favorably a bill entitled an Act to authorize and re-
quire the Comptroller to correct the errors in the distribu-
tion of the " Free School Fund" accruing under the Acts of
1813 and 1816, from the year 1852 to the year 1867, inclu-
sive, and to pay to Baltimore city, and to Baltimore county,
the amounts of which they have been deprived by said errors,
and to make appropriation for that purpose.

Said bill being upon a second reading,

Mr. Syester moved to strike out the enacting clause of the
bill.

Pending the consideration of which,

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the bill entitled an
Act providing for the issue of execution on judgment in Som-
erset and Worcester counties against persons residing in
Wicomico county.

Which was read a first time, and referred to the Wicomico,
Somerset and Worcester delegations.

Also, the bill entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Talbot county, to copy the General Index
to Land Records in his office from 1833 to 1868.

Which was read a first time, and referred to Messrs. Rose,
Lowe andStewart, of Dorchester.

The question then recurring upon the motion of Mr. Syes-
ter to strike out the enacting clause of the bill,

On motion of Mr. Slingluff,

At 3 o'clock, P. M., the House adjourned until Tuesday
next. January 28th, at 12 o'clock noon.
