in a bill to be entitled an Act to repeal the third section of an
Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland State Agri-
cultural and Mechanical Association.

On motion by Mr. Hyland,

Leave of absence was granted to Mr. Fields until Tuesday
next.

Mr. Grove, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably the House bill entitled an Act to repeal
section 92 of Article 17, of Public Local Laws for Queen
Anne's county, and sections 1, 92 and 2 of the Act of 1867,
chapter 421, relating to Justices of the Peace and Consta-
bles in aforesaid county.

Which was read the second time, and,

On motion by Mr. Earle,
The rules were suspended by the following vote :

Ordered, That the Librarian be authorized to furnish for
the use of each member of the Senate one copy of the Mary-
land Code, and one copy of the complete supplement thereto,
recently published by Lewis Mayer, Esq., of the Baltimore
Bar, to be returned to the Library at the close of the session.

On motion by Mr. Hyland,
The Senate adjourned until to-morrow at 12 o'clock, M.
