The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered House bill
entitled a supplement to the Act passed by the General
Assembly of Maryland at January session, 1860, entitled an
Act to incorporate a company to build a turnpike road from
Libertown, in Frederick county, to intersect the Woodsboro'
and Frederick Turnpike Road at or near the Monocacy
Bridge, and its supplement, passed at January session, 1867,
of the General Assembly of Maryland, chapter 230.

Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays."

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to make valid certain official
acts of John Miller as a Justice of the Peace of the State of
Maryland in and for Somerset county.

Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays."

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the location of a
public road in Frederick and Carroll counties.

Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays."

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Internal Improvements.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 22 and 24 of
Article 61 of the Code of Public General Laws, and enact
the following in lieu thereof:

Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays."
Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

Mr. Fields, from the Committee on Internal Improvements,
reported favorably :

House bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an
Act to authorize and empower the County Commissioners of
Kent county to subscribe in behalf of said county to the
capital stock of the Kent County Bail Road Company, and
to issue bonds for the same, and to provide for their redemp-
tion, passed at January session, 1867, chapter 139. by adding
a proviso to the first section of said Act, relating to the
issuing of county bonds and the time for tlieir payment.

Which was read the second time.

Senate bill entitled an Act to rqpeal chapter 129 of the
Acts of 1864, entitled an Act to add additional sections to
the 44th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, title
