On motion by Mr. Biggs,

The vote by which the bill therein referred to, was passed
in the Senate, was reconsidered, and the bill re-committed to
the Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

On motion by Mr. Henkle,

Leave was granted to Senators Henkle, Hyland and Kim-
mel to report a bill to repeal chapter 129 of the Act of 1864,
prescribing an additional oath to be taken by the President,
Vice-President, and visitors of the Maryland Hospital, and
to reinstate the former President, Vice-President and visitors
of the said Hospital.

On motion by Mr. Hammond,

The second reading of Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal
an Act to authorize the payment to the Maryland and Dela-
ware Railroad Company, and the Dorchester Eailroad Com-
pany, the sum of $13,000, applied to the Choptank and Mis-
pillion Railroad Company by the Act of 1860, chapter 303,
according to the provisions of section 3 of said Act, passed on
the 22d day of March, 1867, chapter 225, and re-enact in
lieu the following :

Was suspended and the bill made the order of the day, on
the 30th inst., at 1 o'clock P. M.

Mr. Miller presented the petition of John C. Wilson, late
of the Maryland Volunteer Forces,

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance.

The House hill entitled an Act to repeal the 53d, 54th,
55th, 56th and 57th sections of Art. 19, of the Public Local
Laws of Somerset county, relating to fences,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as fol-
lows :
