on Printing:
The undersigned, Joint Committee on Printing, beg leave
to make the following report, that they respectfully recom-
mend that the following documents be printed :
For the use of the members of the Senate—
Governor Swann's Message in English, 1,600 copies.
" " " German, 900 "
Comptroller's Eeport English, 1,500 "
" " German, 500 "
For the use of the members of the House of Delegates—
Governor Swann's Message in English, 8,000 copies.
" " " German, 2,000 "
Comptroller's Report in English, 9,000 "
" " German, 2,000 "
Also, for the use of both. Houses—
6,000 copies of Gov. Bowie's Inaugural Address.
The Committee further recommend that the printer be in-
structed to have the above documents ready by the 25th of
January, 1868, and that Mr. Raine, of Baltimore city, be
employed as translator,

On motion by Mr. Smith,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Internal Improve-
ments to introduce a bill entitled a Supplement to the Act
entitled an Act to incorporate the Dorchester and Delaware
Rail Road Company, and to direct the payment to the said
Company of the sum of money pledged by the Act passed at
January session, 1860, chapter 303, to works of internal im-
provements in Dorchester county, passed at January session,
1866, chapter 52.
On motion by Mr. Smith,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act to authorize-
the payment to the Maryland and Delaware Rail Road Com-
pany, and the Dorchester Rail Road Company, the sum. of
thirteen thousand dollars, applied to the Choptank and Mis-
pillion Eail Road Company, by the Act of 1860, chapter
303, according to the provisions of section 3, of said Act,
passed on the 22nd day of March, 1867, chapter 225, and
re-enact in lien the following :
Was reported from the select committee, and read the first
time.
The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize Lemuel Ma-
lone to settle his accounts as guardian to George W. Smith,
and to pay over all monies due said ward,
