votes cast in the Senate.
A communication was received from His Excellency, the
Governor, by the hands of J. M. Carter, Secretary of State,
enclosing the election returns of State Senators for Novem-
ber last.
Which was referred to the Committee on Elections.
The President announced as the Committee on Executive
Nominations, Messrs. Walsh, Parker, of Calvert, Denson,
Earle, and Maddox.
The President presented the annual report of the Principal
of the Charlotte Hall School.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Edu-
cation.
