Mr. Welch from a select committee reported a bill entitled
an Act to refund taxes erroneously paid by Matilda C. Pearce,
guardian of Mary Clementine Pearce, of Kent county,

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Malone from a select committee reported a bill en-
titled an Act to authorize Lemuel Malone to settle his ac-
counts as guardian to George W. Smith, and to pay over all
money due said ward.

Which was read the first time.

The bill entitled an Act to amend Art. 29 of the Code of
Public General Laws of the State of Maryland, adding thereto
the following sections :

Was road a third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
follows :
