Also leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a hill to amend the charter of the New Windsor
Turnpike Company.

Also leave to report a bill to amend the charter of the
Liberty and Johnsville Turnpike.
On motion of Mr. Montague,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a hill to allow the Commissioners of Baltimore
county to make additional precincts in such. Districts as re-
quire them.

On motion of Mr. Devecmon,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a hill to amend the Sunday law.
On motion of Mr. Vandiver,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a hill to amend the charter of the corporation of
Havre-de-Grace.

On motion of Mr. Clark,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate a turnpike company to build
a road from Ellicott City to Clarksville.
On motion of Mr. Montague,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill to change the phraseology of the charter
of the Chesapeake Insurance Company.

Messrs. Poteet, Fooks and Coudy, from the Joint Committee
to wait upon the Executive, reported that they had dis-
charged the duty entrusted to them, and that His Excellency
would forward forthwith a message to the House.

John M. Carter, Esq., Secretary of State, delivered the
following message from the Executive.

Which was read.
Mr. Wentz submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the Governor's Message be printed in Eng-
lish, and German , 20,000 copies thereof in the former, and
5,000 copies thereof in the latter language, the translation
thereof to be made by Frederick Baine, of Baltimore city;

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Print-
ing.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
sage:
