port a bill to repeal sections 75 and 76 of Article 21, Public
Local Laws, relating to the town of Clearspring in Wash-
ington county, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Sudler,

Leave was granted to the Queen Anne's and Kent county
delegations to report a bill authorizing the Comptroller and
Treasurer, when ascertaining the amount of paid up sub-
scriptions to the capital stock of the Queen Anne's and Kent
Railroad Company, to estimate the bonds of Queen Anne's
county, as cash at a specified rate per cent.

On motion of Mr. Davis, of Cecil,

Leave was granted to the Cecil county delegation to intro-
duce a bill to allow the County Commissioners of Cecil county,
to levy a sum of money to build a bridge over Scotchmans
creek in said county.

On motion of Mr. Herbert,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a hill entitled an Act to incorporate the Opake Zinc

Company.

On motion of Mr. Bond, of Baltimore city,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal Sections 1 and 4, of Article 13 of
the Public General Laws, entitled Bastardy, and to re-enact
the same with alterations.

On motion of Mr. Jordan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate a company to build a turnpike
road from the bridge across Little Pipe Creek on the line be-
tween Frederick and Carroll counties, near Daniel E. Buck-
ley's mill through Middleburg to Taneytown. in Carroll
county.

On motion of Mr. Devecmon,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Dime Bank of Cumber-
land.

Mr. Bond, of Baltimore city, (the rules being suspended,)
submitted the following order :

Ordered, That Mr. Mullin, of Baltimore city, have leave
of absence for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

Which was adopted.
