The House then resumed the consideration of the bill.
Pending which,

Mr. McElroy moved that the bill he printed.
Decided in the negative.

Mr. Smith of Baltimore city, submitted the following
amendment:

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That no citizen of Frederick, Gar-
roll or Baltimore counties, shall be permitted to shoot, trap or
in any manner catch, any partridge, pheasant, woodcock or
wild turkey, within the limits of any part of this State, ex-
cepted from the operations of this Act, under the pains and
penalties prescribed in the 1st Section.
