The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
sage :

BY THE SENATE,

March 30, 1868.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We propose with your concurrence the appointment of a

Joint Committee, to consist of two members of the Senate
and three members of the House of Delegates, to wait upon
his Excellency, the Governor, and inform him that the Gen-
eral Assembly are ready to adjourn at 12 o'clock, P. M., and
Inquire of him whether he has any further communication to
make to them. We have appointed on the part of the Sen-
ate, Messrs. Spates and Earle.

Mr. Iglehart submitted the following message :

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 30, 1868.

Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message for the appointment of a
Committee to wait on the Governor, to inform him of the
contemplated adjournment of the two Houses, and respect-
fully concur in the same,and have appointed on the part of

the House, Messrs. Iglehart, Blake and Hubbard,
