The Senate bill entitled an Act to appoint Commissioners
to have a survey made and estimate of the cost of construct-
ing a Railroad from some point in Prince George's county, to
Point Lookout.

Said bill being upon a second reading,
Mr. Coad submitted the following amendments :
Section 1, line 2, after the word 'appoint,' insert five ;
Line 3, after 'commissioners,' insert three ;
After section 1, insert another section to read as follows:
"And be it enacted, That the Commissioners appointed
under this Act snail, before entering upon their duties, exe-
cute a joint bond to be approved by the Governor in the sum
of twenty thousand dollars, conditioned upon the faithful
performance of the duties and trusts prescribed in this Act.
