The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Tria-
delphia Turnpike Company,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
sage :

BY THE SENATE,

March 30th, 1868.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We have received from your Honorably Body Senate bill
entitled an Act to add a new Article to the Code of Public
Local Laws, to he entitled Public Roads in Caroline county,
with amendments, and concur in all of said amendments
except the amendment to strike out sections 5 and 6, from
which the Senate ask your Honorable Body to recede.

Which was read.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the Senate bill enti-
tled an Act to add a new Article to the Code of Public Local
Laws, to be entitled Public Roads in Caroline county, en-
dorsed : Amendments concurred in, except the 5th and 6th.

On motion of Mr. Rose,

The vote by which the amendments striking out the 5th.
and 6th sections of the hill were adopted,

Was reconsidered.

Said amendments were then rejected,

And the bill, as amended, passed by yeas and nays as fol-
