The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 44, 45
and 46, of Article 16, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
entitled Prince George's County, under head of Collectors,
and sections 47, 48 and 49, additional sections to said Arti-
cle, under same head, enacted by Act of 1864, chapter 326,
and to re-enact the same with amendments and additions,

Said bill being upon a second reading,

Mr. Williams submitted the following amendments :

Section 47, line 4, strike out the word "five" and insert
the word two.

Section 46, line 8, strike out the word "twenty" and in-
sert the word thirty.

Section 48, line 6, strike out the word "twenty" and in-
sert the word thirty.

Section 49, line 3, strike out the word "two" and insert
the word three.

Which were severally read and adopted.

for a third reading.

59, 60 and 61, of Article 16, of the Public Local Law of
Prince George's county, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

The Senate bill entitled an Act incorporating the Western
Maryland College.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Frederick county, to subscribe to the capi-
tal stock, and endorse the mortgage bonds of the Western
Maryland Rail Road Company, the Frederick and Emmitts-
burg Rail Road Company, and the Frederick and Williams-
port Rail Road Company.
