The Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional section
to Article 53 of the Code of Public General Laws of the State
of Maryland, entitled Landlord and Tenant, to follow section
21.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend and to enlarge
the powers conferred by the Act entitled an Act relating to
the manner of holding and transmitting the title to certain
church property therein mentioned, passed at December ses-
sion, 1832, chapter 308.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled
an Act to amend the 16th Article of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, by adding thereto the following sections, relating
to the powers of Courts of Equity in selling lands, passed
March 3, 1862, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled aa Act to release Thomas Jarrell
and Esma Lowe from liabilities to the State incurred by se-
curityship, on the hond of Alexander Knotts, of Caroline
county.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Also, unfavorably

The Senate hill entitled an Act to prevent the sale of in-
toxicating liquors within three miles of Darnestown, Mont-
gomery county.

And the report was adopted.
Also, unfavorably

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Register of Wills for Worcester county.

And the report was adopted.

Mr. Colton, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, re-
ported favorably

The Senate bill entitled an Act to compensate Joseph M.
Palmer for services rendered the State in the cases of the
State vs. George Otto and George Hape.
