Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Fooks submitted the following amendment:

Strike out the word " Grivens," before the word "bridge,'r
wherever it occurs in the bill, and insert the word "Pur-
nell's."

Which was adopted.

The bill as amended,

Was then read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act fixing the mileage of members of
the General Assembly of Maryland,

Being upon a second reading,

On motion of Mr. Colton,
Was recommitted.

The bill entitled an Act entitled a supplement to an Act
mssed by the General Assembly of Maryland, at January
session, 1864, chapter 96, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Liberty and New Windsor Turnpike Road Company, in
Frederick and Carroll counties.

Was read a third time and passed, by yeas and nays as
follows :
