1108 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 26,

THURSDAY, March 26th, 1868.

The House met, and was opened with prayer by the Rev.
Mr. Leech.

Present at the call of the roll the following members :

Messrs. Stewart, (Speaker,) Loker, Coad, Boyer, Beck,
Iglehart, Deale, Dalrymple, Mitchell, Chapman, Nicolai,
Slingluff, Montague, Biddison, Rose, Lowe, Corbin, Horsey,
Percy, Davis, of Cecil, Touchstone, Richards, Mearns, Guy,
Williams, Sudler, Legg, Holloway, Smith, of Worcester,
Albaugh, Dutrow, Wenner, Bowlus, Maynard, Byers, Sil-
ver, Nelson, Vandiver, Wentz, Robb, Morse, Blake, Pent-
land, Smith, of Baltimore city, Bond, of Baltimore city,
Colton, Mullin, Chaisty, Markland, Coudy, Herbert, Roh-
rer, Seibert, Riggs, Offutt, Conley, McCulloh, Kean, Devec-
mon, Trimble, Hall, Jordan, Worthington, Clark. Jones,
Fooks—66.

Mr. Blake submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the per diem of the Assistant Hall-Keeper
be the same as other officers of the House.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Montague submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the Printer he requested to suspend all
other printing for this House, and furnish the members with
the Journals as soon as possible.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Bond, of Calvert, from the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported favorably

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the relief of Dr. John
C. Parker and other citizens of Calvert county.

Said bill being upon a second reading.

On motion of Mr. Wentz,
The further consideration thereof
Was postponed, and

The bill made the order of the day for Saturday, 28th
instant.

The House then resumed the consideration of the unfin-
ished business of Tuesday last, being

The hill entitled an Act to repeal Article 98 of the Code
of Public General Laws, title Wild Fowl, and to enact the
following in lieu thereof.
