The House took up for consideration,

The bill entitled an Act to amend certain portions of the
Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Cecil and Harford
counties Boom Company, passed at the January session 1867,
chapter 194, and to require said company to remove certain
and all obstructions placed by the said company in the Sus-
quehana river in violation of their charter,

Said bill being upon a second reading,

Mr. Nicolai moved that the bill be referred to the Commit-
tee on the Judiciary.

The question being on concurring in the motion,

Mr. Sanner moved that the House do now adjourn until
to-morrow morning at 10 o'clock.

Decided in the negative.

The question then recurring on the motion to refer the bill
to the Committee on the Judiciary,

It was decided in the negative.

The bill was then read a second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

On motion of Mr. Herbert,
