On motion of Mr. Blake,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to re-
port a bill to enlarge the jurisdiction of the Superior Court
of Baltimore city.

Mr. Williams, (the rules being suspended,) presented the
petition of Geo. W. Wilson of Prince George's county,
praying a re-adjustment of his account for publishing the
laws for the year 1866.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims,,

Mr. Iglehart, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
Continental Fire and Marine Insurance Company of Bal-
timore ;

Which was read a first time.

Also, a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of
Berlin, in Worcester county ;

Which was read a first time.

Also, a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the German
Savings Bank of Maryland ;

Which was read a first time.

Also, a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland
Permanent Land and Building Society ;

Which was read a first time.

Also, a bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the
Baltimore Fell's Point Hebrew Friendship Congregation ;
Which was read a first time.

Mr. Colton, Chairman of Select Committee, submitted the
following

REPORT.

The committee to whom was recommitted the matter of
postage stamps, recommend the adoption of the following in
lieu of the original order.

GEO. COLTON,
WM. HENRY LEGG,
JOHN S. BIDDISON,

Committee.

Ordered, That the Postmaster of the House of Delegates
iurnish each member with postage stamps to the amount not
exceeding forty dollars, ($40,) and each of the officers of the
House with an amount not exceeding five dollars, except the
Chief Clerk, Reading Clerk and Journal Clerk, who shall be
entitled to the same amount as members; and that any
member or officer may elect to take and use said stamps
