1076 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 25,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled
an Act to incorporate the Central Coal Mining and Manu-
facturing company, passed at January session, 1853, chapter
366, authorizing said company to reduce its capital stock.

Said bill being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Slingluff,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill made the order of the day for Saturday, March 28.

Mr. Mitchell, Chairman of the Committee on the Judicary,
reported unfavorably

The bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act entitled
an Act to incorporate the Queenstown and Harrington Rail-
way Company, chapter 354, passed March 22, 1867,

And the report was adopted.
Also, reported favorably

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 26 of Article
38, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to the fees
of Registers of Wills, and re-enact the same with amendments,

And the report was adopted.

Mr. Mearns, Chairman of a select committee, reported
favorably

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 189, of Article
8, of the Public Local Laws for Cecil county, entitled
"Sheriff," and to re-enact the same as follows.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Mr. Rose, Chairman of a select committee, reported favora-
bly

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact sections
32, 33, 37 and 81 of Article 20, of Public Local Laws for
Talbot county, relating to the number, powers and election
of the Commissioners of Easton, and to add an additional
section thereto.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Mr. Percy, Chairman of a select committee, reported favora-
bly

Senate hill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article 20 of the Public Local Laws for Talbot county, and
town of St. Michael's, to be entitled "Harbors and Harbor
Masters."

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.
