for a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled aa Act to refund certain sums of
money for State taxes erroneously paid into the Treasury of
the State by the society of the redemptorists, and by St.
Anthony's Orphan Asylum.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Also, reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the relief of Dr. John
C. Parker, and others, citizens of Calvert county.

Said bill being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Colton,

The vote by which 'the bill was ordered to be referred to
the Committee on Claims, was reconsidered and the bill refer-
red to the Committee on Ways and Means.

The joint resolution requiring the Librarian to furnish
to the Circuit Court for Howard county certain Law Re-
ports.

Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed Janu-
ary session, 1865, chapter 33, entitled an Act to provide bounty
for soldiers entering the service of the United States to fill
the quotas of Maryland, under the call of the President
of the United States of the 19th of December, 1864, and
under future calls, by amending and re-enacting sections 4,
5 and 6, which were repealed or intended to be repealed by
the Act of 1867, chapter 156,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
