1024 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 23,

sum of money for the construction of a "bridge over the Little
Gunpowder River, near Emory's Ford.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Frederick and Carroll counties to aid in the com-
pletion of the Woodsborough and Pipe Creek Turnpike
Road Company.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal certain portions of the Act
of 1860, chapter 303, of the General Assembly of Maryland,
relating to the Columbia and Port Deposit Rail Road
Company.

Mr. Coudy moved that the House do now take a recess
until 8 o'clock P. M.

Decided in the negative.

Mr. Herbert moved that the House do now adjourn until
Monday next, at 12 o'clock noon.

Which was determined in the negative.

Mr. Nicolai moved that the House do now adjourn until
11 o'clock Monday morning.

Which was decided in the affirmative,

And the House, at 3 o'clock P. M., adjourned until Mon-
day morning next at 11 o'clock.
