SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said trustees shall make
return in writing to the commissioners of Somerset county, in
the month of December In each year, setting forth the amount
of money received by them in their respective school districts

Particulars.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the commissioners of Somer-
set county be, and they are hereby required, as soon as they
may receive an authentic copy of this act, to appoint some
suitable person to take charge of the funds they may receive
from the state for educational purposes, who shall be styled,
the Treasurer of the School Fund of Somerset County ; who,
before he shall enter upon the discharge of his duties, shall

keep, and by the order of the county commissioners disburse

SEC. 5. And be it enacted. That the treasurer of the western
shore be, and he is hereby authorized and required to pay over
to the treasurer of the common school fund of Somerset county,
or his order, all sum or sums of money which are now, or may
hereafter be apportioned to Somerset county out of the common
or free school fund or funds of the state, or which may be ap-
portioned to said county out of the interest in the state's por-
tion of the surplus fund of the United States, or which said
county may be entitled to receive from the state, for common
school purposes from any fund whatever.

net to be published in both the newspapers printed in said
county, for three successive weeks previous to the first Mon-
