for each election district in Somerset county, whose duty it
shall be, or a majority of them, to assemble in the respective
election districts of said county, at such place as they may
think proper to appoint, at as early day as may be practicable,

into a suitable and convenient number of school districts, hav-
ing reference to creeks and roads for boundaries ; and said

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said commissioners of
Somerset county shall proceed to appoint, for each school dis-

given, to procure and erect by individual subscription or
otherwise, a suitable school-house, conveniently located in
each school district, and it shall be the duty of the said trus-
tees, so soon as they have obtained such school-house, to inform

to appropriate such sum or sums of money out of the funds

the duty of said county commissioners to appoint one of the

year, as they may be enabled to do from the amount of money

vidual subscription for the maintenance and support of educa-
tion in said school districts respectively ; that every child in
the district shall be admitted into the school upon a perfect
equality, and the education of no one to be paid for or consi-
