BOUNDARIES. — Was erected into a County by a Resolve of the Convention
on the 6th September, 1776,— another Act 1734, ch. 63.

ASSESSMENT.
AN ACT for the re-valuation of Real and Personal Property in Montgo-
mery County.— 1830, ch.53.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Mary land
That the present commissioners of the tax of Montgomery
county be, and they are hereby authorized and required to
meet at Rockville, in said county, as soon as may be practica-
ble after the passage of this act, and there proceed to re- value
and re-assess the real and personal property in the said county,
agreeably to the provisions of an act passed at November ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and twelve, entitled, an act for the
valuation of real and personal property in the several counties
in this state.

effect

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said commissioners of
the tax for Montgomery county are hereby authorized and em-
powered to carry into full effect and operation all the provi-
sions of this act, as well as the aforesaid act of eighteen hun-
dred and twelve, entitled, an act for the valuation of real and
personal property in the several counties of this state.
