POOR. 2007

SEC. 2. And be il enacted, That if the said loan contem-
plated by the first section of this act, be made and obtained
with the assent and concurrence of the said levy court of Kent
county, then the said levy court of Kent county be, and they
are hereby authorized and required to levy upon, and collect
from the inhabitants of Kent county, the said sum not exceed-
ing ten thousand dollars, borrowed upon the faith of the
county as aforesaid, as other charges are levied and collected,
and that the same be paid over to said trustees or their order ;

Levy di-
rected.

Provided nevertheless, that a sum not exceeding twelve hun-
dred dollars, and the interest accruing upon the said loan,
shall be levied in any one year.

Limitation.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the trustees aforesaid, and
their successors for the time being, shall be and they are
hereby authorized and empowered to demand, receive and
recover from the collector of said county, the said sum so
levied and collected as aforesaid, at the times they respec-
tively become due.

Authority

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That so much of the act to which
this is a supplement, as may be inconsistent with, or contrary
to the provisions of this act, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed.
